Louise Harder was the recipient of this year's Den Mother award for all her work on the cabin. She was the 2003 Cabin Warden, and is the 2004 Secretary. Louise, Ian, and Phaedra were awarded the Member of the Year Award.

Ian Harder was the club Secretary for the last three years, and is President for 2004, taking on the position vacated by Doug Brain.

The Junior Skills Awards Program, initiated by Doug Brain has been going strong for the last couple of years.
Louise Harder presented certificates to Cody Staley, Natasha Corewyn, Phaedra Harder, and Melissa Long for advancements they made this season. Master of Ceremonies Paul Fraser looks on.

Melissa Long took this year's Earl and Ken Matheson Outstanding Achievement Award for setting provincial records in slalom, trick, and jump this year. Mike Ozanne presents the award as a former barefoot record holder.

When the band took their first break, the Fun Awards were presented. The first was the Dudley Award, for the most memorable dopey move of the year. Lorne Staley presents this year's Dudley to Burt Perey and Darryl Oben (not present), for taking Bert's new Malibu Response to the dealer after it broke down in the course, only to be informed that it was out of fuel!

The Don Langford Anal Award, named after the original recipient, is presented to the person who demonstrates the greatest amount of anal retentiveness during the season. Michael Long received it this year from Barry McKnight for observing Barry skiing through the course and noting (as a casual observer) that his segment times were wrong.

Ian Macdonald gets Supervisor of the Year from Paul Fraser for his enthusiastic work in various work parties at our club. If there's another supervisor besides Ian on site, then there will be two supervisors. However, Ian's always willing to pick up the tools and get dirty.

A new award was created this year by Barry McKnight to honour outgoing presidents for contributing their time and effort to our club. Former presidents Paul Wilson and Barry McKnight (not in photo) presented the award to former longtime president Bill Adams.
