2003 Photos - Deep Cove Penguin Plunge

January 1

It was windy, cold, and just plain miserable. But that wasn't stopping the annual group of crazy swimmers and water ski club members from braving the elements and dunking themselves in the cove. The event is sponsored by the Mount Seymour Lions Club, with proceeds going to the BC Lions Society for Disabled Children. Special thanks to the demonstration coordinator and master of ceremonies Rob Elliott. Photos by Ian Harder and Michael Long.
