Community Events
As a non-profit society, we work with the community to enhance our environment, take care of our climate, and have fun! We host many events to include many clubs and people from different groups.
Ski Wee
For children under 75 pounds, we provide a safe, fun environment where they can learn to waterski, wakeboard and kneeboard. Parents and young adults provide the power to pull participants the length of the pool using a pulley system. This lesson is on a weekend in the month of April, held at the Ron Andrews Pool on Lytton Street in North Vancouver.
Ladies Day
Ladies Day is held on a Friday in late June each year. Come hang out, bring a friend, have a ski, and enjoy a delicious lunch with refreshments. It's a great way to meet people and get some pointers to help you ski better.
Club Days
We have a Community Club Day where we teach waterskiing to a group of people every year. The Clubs we've hosted in the past are the Kiwanis Club, Big Brothers, Tsleil Waututh Nation, and many others. It's a great way to get people out on the water to enjoy our beautiful city and learn something new.
SkiAbility Day
Ski Ability is our day devoted to helping physically disabled people experience waterskiing. We have special sit-skis and have side skiiers to ensure safety and fun.
